Tricks

Okay dear yoyo beginners here are some of the very basic trick you have to master before doing some of the cool up, down, left, right and eye popping action you see.

These tricks are brought to you by Yo-Hans.

1.With the ProYo in your palm, curl your arm up to near your ear as though making a muscle.

2.Toss your arm down and with a snap of your wrist, release the ProYo out over the end of your fingers.

3.When the ProYo reaches the bottom of the string, turn your wrist over (palm down), apply alight upward tug, and allow the ProYo to return to your hand.

1.Extend your arm straight slightly behind you, with the back of your hand facing forward.

2.Keep your elbow straight, and swing your hand forward, releasing the ProYo as your hand reaches the front of the swing.

3.Watch the ProYo go out and up. Then with a slight tug, return it to your extended hand.

1.With the ProYo in your palm curl your arm up to near your ear as though making a muscle.

2.Toss your arm down and with a snap of your wrist, release the ProYo out  over the ends of your fingers.

3.Lessen the impact or jolt when the ProYo hits the end of the string. It should stay spinning at the end of the string. Before the ProYo slows down too much, turn your wrist over (palm down), tug upwards slightly and return it to your hand.

1.Practise the cradle with stationary ProYo before attempting with a sleeping ProYo. With the ProYo hanging out at the end of the strings, hold your ProYo hand up to a stop position.

2.Reach between your thumb and index finger with all four fingers of the other hand and pull the string back down until it forms a triangle. Or lift the ProYo into a 'V' formed by your thumb and index finger.

3.After forming the triangle, swing the ProYo through it a few times. Drop the strings tug the ProYo back to your hand. Now the challenge is to try it with the ProYo sleeping throughout! The trick is to practice until you get the right speed of the initial ProYo spin and the speed in which you work the trick.

1.First make a muscle with the ProYo on our shoulder, then toss it out to the side.

2.Swing the ProYo across your body to approximately shoulder height, Allow it to briefly spin and sleep.

3.When it reaches your shoulder, give a quick tug to bring it back into your hand.

1.Begin with either a forward pass (for an Around The World perpendicular to your body) or a Break Away (for an Around The World parallel to your body.) When the ProYo is fully out at the end of the string, spin it around your body in a full 360 degree circle or more circles as desired.

2.When the ProYo has completed the circles around your body and is slightly above shoulder height, give it a quick tug for its return.

1.Toss a fast sleeper. gently lower the ProYo until it's contact with the floor.

2.The ProYo should start rolling or 'walking' forward.

3.After the ProYo has traveled a brief distance and before it slows down too much, give it a quick tug to return to your hand.
