Well, there really isn't a whole lot of news considering this is the off-season, but there is a few notes to make:
- The Bantam Draft just recently passed by, so we have some new up and coming prospects
- Tim Tisdale aka "Tizzy" and the coaching staff's contracts weren't renewed...which means we can look forward to a whole new coaching staff next year, which might or might not be an improvement
- There's only 500 season tickets left...unless you're willing to take crappy seats...get your ass in gear, and get down to the dome!
- Filip Novak was drafted in the 2nd round by the NY Rangers 64th overall
-Scotty"the hottie" Balan was drafted in the 4th round by Chicago 106th overall
-The Pats have their new coach--ex-Blawkhawks coach, Lorne Molleken
-The Wickenheiser Classic is coming up Thursday, August 3rd
-The 2000/2001 schedule has been released, Sept. to Oct. dates can be found on the schedule page
-I found this out awhile ago, but not many Pats fans know that Matt House is now playing in the OHL with the Guelph Storm
-07/25/00 The Pats acquired left winger, David Kaczowka from the Seattle T-Birds for future draft picks
-08/24/00 The Pats rookie camp gets under way today, good luck to all the up and coming rookie prospects!
-The Pats let Winger, Travis Churchman go
-Barret Jackman, Brett Lysak, and Filip Novak were all returned from the NHL camps.
-Pats acquire Mike Munro from the Kamloops Blazers
