| Background information | Born to a noble house son of the celebrated engineer Count
Radi who had designed the underground complex's in which the people of
Rhidian now live. Meridian graduated top of his class and had much
influence. He was given the position of Chief Research Scientist at the planets
most distinguished University overseeing many projects. Unfortunately due
to his second in commands jealousy, corruption and lust for revenge
Meridians 'Terra-forming' invention was stolen (by his colleague) and sold
to mercenaries who used it to attack an innocent planet. But all the
evidence led back to Meridian, it looked like he had sold the technology
for money and as the mercenaries couldn't be found he became a scapegoat.
Taken to a court he was sentenced to life imprisonment for his crimes (as
was the law of his planet) but his father's influence (and an ancient law
which) helped Meridian arrange to spend his time 'paying back' all the
lives he had caused the end of by saving the equal amount. He was given an
android guardian [Eternity] to make sure he didn't try to go back on his
word and a piece of teleporting technology which he would later adapt to
use to travel in time.
Note: He has dark hair, rather on the long side. His complexion is very pale as is most of his people from living underground in fear of the sun (Industry had destroyed their planets surface) He also usually wear's a pair of round-rimmed tinted sunglass's to protect his eyes. |
