Excerpts of the second LETTER OF A PHILIPPINE ARMY OFFICER RE DEC DEC 30 BOMBING

DEAR XXXXXXX

As I had stated in my last email I told you that the MILF did it and for your information i took the liberty of setting an appointment with NBI director Wycoco to briefed(sic) him of my holdings in the case. As an intel operative my intention there is for the organization to stop them from releasing to media the names of the suspects (Guindolongan and Unos).

As in the case of Col Corpus I made sure that my superiors received my reports and its up to them to evaluate it. The bottom line is for me to prevent this people from making my coplan harder. I am obsessed in solving this case. A lot of people died, whatever other issues tied to it was cleared with the arrest of Al-Ghozi.

On the credit grabbing issues, Your unit and mine agreed that the press release should always be a joint one. Of course it is our bosses who should be there. That does not affect our efficiency. But what happened then is that it was the PNP released (sic)to media on their own. How would you feel then if you're on my shoes? The same thing happened when I arrested Al-Ghozi, at the point of burning my assets and even endangering their lives and mine as xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

Until now no credit (awards and rewards) have been received(sic) by my unit. The 2 million reward is still hanging, I don't know with the arrest of Al-Ghozi they might consider releasing it. I worked alone in my shop trying to piece together all the leads and it pay off. It's now time for the police to do their job.

Sorry xxxxxxxxxx I want to keep a low profile.

xxxxxxxxxxx

Note: THE NAME OF THE CONCERNED OFFICER WAS DELETED TO PROTECT THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE PHILIPPINE ARMY OFFICER FROM THE "TERRORISTS"
