February's
big event started off with the introduction of Social Anarchy to the ring. Apocalypse
and Taz came to the ring to discuss their matches later in the evening against Dakota
Dick and Lumberjack. The big man took the mic first and here's what he had to say:
"Tonight, I am scheduled to face Dakota Dick in a hardcore grudge match. I
guess that proves to everybody once and for all that Dakota Dick is such a wussy
Heavyweight Champion that he won't even defend his title against a formidable challenger.
After all, look at his title defenses so far; versus Death he won by interference,
and versus Taz he loss by interference but held onto the title. Of course we can't
forget what started his whole title reign in the first place, Dakota Dick defeated
Lumberjack at 'Dead Man Walking' thanks to interference. If it wasn't for Social
Anarchy then Lumberjack would still be the champ, so that means you own me, Dakota,
and tonight's your time to pay up." Apocalypse tossed the mic to Taz and the
True Main Event delivered and short and simple message to Lumberjack. "Lumberjack,
tonight you and I finish this $#!@. I don't care how, you pick the stipulation,
because after I kick your @$$ you're gonna wish you never messed with TAZ!"
Big Mac
walked out with his tag partner, Al Bino, trailing behind. It was obvious that Big
Mac was frustrated by how laid back his partner was acting when the match meant so
much to him. The Lady Killers, however, were perfectly n-sync as they entered the
ring doing a dance that drove the ladies absolutely wild. Luckily, the Lady Killers
were wearing their snap-away clothes and did not suffer any injuries from the female
fans ripping their junk off. Magnum and Mr. Magic hopped inside the ring, but before
they could prepare, Big Mac and Al Bino were whipping their tails all over the ring.
Al Bino grabbed Mr. Magic and easily tossed him out of the ring with some kind of
belly-to-belly slam which left Magnum all by his lonesome. Big Mac and Al Bino executed
three consecutive double suplexes on Magnum and Big Mac went for the pin, but Mr.
Magic managed to break it up. Big Mac lifted Magnum off the mat and tagged in Al
Bino. Together they executed a simultaneous backdrop/reverse DDT combination that
left Magnum motionless in the middle of the ring. Instead of going for the pin Al
Bino got down and bit deep into Magnum's forehead. The ref tried to get Al Bino
off of Magnum but the nutcase would not release his lockjaw hold. Mr. Magic ran
in and began stomping on Al Bino's crotch to get him off Magnum. Al Bino let go
of his bite and chased Mr. Magic out of the ring by barking like a dog and running
on all fours. Big Mac was screaming at Al Bino to tag him in, but he just ignored
Big Mac and had fun tossing Magnum all over the ring. Al Bino lifted Magnum and
threw him right into Mr. Magic for a tag. Mr. Magic jumped in the ring and immediately
knocked Al Bino on his back with a Disappearing Act. Magnum was still in the ring
so Mr. Magic set Al Bino up for a Lady Killer's double-team. Mr. Magic ran from
behind and clipped Al Bino's knees which drop! ped him to the ground and set him
up for Magnum who executed a bronco buster takedown. Al Bino was bent completely
back as his head touched his toes. The lunatic was snarling like an injuared animal
as he tried to bite anybody who came near him. Mr. Magic was finally able to sneak
behind him and laid the psycho out with a wicked high angle tiger suplex. Al Bino
was out cold as Mr. Magic wrapped a leg, but Big Mac ran in and broke the pin before
the ref could even count. Big Mac then returned to his corner and begged Al Bino
to tag. Al Bino might have tagged Big Mac in, but at the moment he was in la-la-land
trying to regain consciousness. Mr. Magic tagged in Magnum and the Lady Killers
set the stage for their Spermicide slide. Mr. Magic held Al Bino's legs spread eagle
and then Magnum drove his feet right into Al Bino's manlihood with a baseball slide.
Al Bino's eyes looked like they were about to pop out of their sockets, as Magnum
grabbed his legs and flipped into a bridging pin. Big Mac hopped into the ring to
save his partner, but inadvertently dropped an elbow on him when Magnum swiftly rolled
out of the way. Magnum stood up and started laughing at Big Mac's mistake, but the
mack shut him up instantly with a Mac Attack. Big Mac stood in the ring daring Mr.
Magic to step inside and get beat like a man. Mr. Magic waited till the ref started
dragging Big Mac back to his corner before entering the ring and helping his partner.
The Lady Killers strategically took Al Bino's straightjacket and tied it in such
a way that both of Al Bino's arms were bound behind his back. Mr. Magic then double
underhooked Al Bino's arms and Magnum finished off the Gang Bang with a kick through
the uprights. Al Bino collapsed forward and Magnum rolled him on his back for a
pin. Mr. Magic took care of Big Mac as Magnum easily kept Al Bino's shoulders down
thanks to the face that he had no use of his arms to break out. The Lady Killers
picked up the 3-count and remained the Tag Team Champions.
After
the match, Big Mac blamed Al Bino for being selfish and causing them to lose. In
fact, Big Mac went as far to say that Al Bino was responsible for EVERY loss they've
ever received. Al Bino's only defense against Big Mac's accusations was, "When
they kicked me in the private parts...I kinda liked it." Al Bino then flopped
on his back and began laughing hysterically as he drooled all over himself.
The 20-feet
tall scaffold was built about 5 blocks away from the Official WYDW Backyard and only
the participants involved were allowed to be within 4 blocks of the vicinity. Death
stared up into the sky and did not see a monumental piece of scaffolding, to him
the scaffold represented more than that. If he successfully threw Ranger X off the
platform, then the scaffold would become his stairway to heaven. But if Ranger X
somehow knocked Death off the man-made structure, then the scaffold symbolized Death's
last chance at eternal bliss and beginning of eternal damnation. The Hardcore Champ,
however, looked at it this way; Either he threw Death off the scaffold and ended
all of the monster's religious nonsense, or Death threw him off and broke every single
bone in his body. Both men climbed up each side and the match soon began. It was
clear both men were at a disadvantage due to the fact that there were deep grooves
on top of the scaf! folding. Early in the match, Ranger X's foot went right in between
one of those grooves and Death wasted no time attacking his fallen foe. Death stomped
right where Ranger X's ankle was wedged inside the crease. Ranger X tried to remove
his foot as quickly as he could and did so right as Death went for what would have
been an ankle-shattering heel stomp. Ranger X took Death down with a back leg sweep
and then went to town with leg drops galore. The Hardcore Champ went to wrap Death
in a figure-4 leglock but the gothic goliath knocked him six feet back with a powerful
mule kick. The kick was so powerful that it sent Ranger X barreling over the edge.
Ranger X gripped onto the side and pulled himself back up before Death could capitalize.
Death body slammed Ranger X onto the hard surface and locked on his death grip to
Ranger X's throat. The champ was trying his hardest to break free and finally did
after kicking Death right! in the face and turning his mask sideways. The monster
stumbled back as he attempted to fix his mask and Ranger X completely blindsided
him with a speedy spear. Ranger X gripped onto Death's head and pounded it onto
the steel scaffolding. Death backhanded Ranger X off of him and managed to properly
position his mask. The monster stormed after his opponent and wrapped both of his
icy hands around Ranger X's throat. Ranger X was lifted off his feet and carried
to the edge in a chokehold. With all his might, Death launched Ranger X towards
his doom, but the ranger was ready. Ranger X latched his legs around Death's waist,
so when Death tossed him outward, he used that momentum to swing down and in between
Death's legs. Before Death knew what happened, Ranger X dropkicked him from behind
and sent him over the edge. To everyone's amazement, Death caught the end of the
scaffold and was holding on with one hand. Ranger X ! stomped on Death's hand but
it did not faze the walking abomination. Death effortlessly pulled himself up and
reminded Ranger X, "The Lord preserveth the faithful." Ranger X got furious
at Death for what he said and took it upon himself to end the existence of Death
by revealing the man behind the mask. Death stood in front of Ranger X and the champ
knew that his opponent was physically invincible. That is exactly why Ranger X did
the most stupid thing possible: he challenged Death to a battle of strength. Both
men interlocked their hands and within seconds Ranger X was bent backwards. Things
looked bad for the Hardcore Champion, but he had it all worked out. Death flaunted
his physical dominance over Ranger X even more by lifting him off the scaffold with
their hands still locked up. The goliath didn't even see it coming as Ranger X clocked
him right in the jaw with a front dropkick and left his ! arms useless to defend.
Ranger X wrapped his legs around Death's neck and then took him down with guillotine
strikes. The monster fell backwards as Ranger X had him pinned down and was pulling
the mask off. Death blindly tossed Ranger X off of him and tried to return to his
feet, but Ranger X leapt on his back and continued pulling off the mask. Ranger
X gripped onto the last part of the mask and ripped it off Death's head. Death covered
his face with his hands but Ranger X could clearly see the short black hair of his
opponent. Before he could take any further observations, a jacked up Dodge Ram was
heading straight for the scaffold and rammed so hard into it that the whole structure
collapsed to the ground. Both of the wrestlers went flying of the scaffolding and
got buried under the debris. Out of the Ram truck stepped a blue-haired bad @$$
known by no other name then FNA. The profanity-ridden punk had a score to settle
with both men and after being sidelined for over a month he had a lot of catching
up to do. With the scaffolding scattered everywhere, FNA definitely made his presence
known, and then reminded them who is #1 with a middle finger salute. As he peeled
out of the area, Ranger X painfully climbed his way out of the pile that 10 minutes
prior was the 20-feet high battlefield for him and Death. As he continued to search
through the wreckage he found no signs of Death anywhere. The only thing to be found
was his mask. The referee didn't know what to think so he went ahead and awarded
Ranger X with the victory, allowing him to retain the title.
Taz walked
out to the head-pounding sounds of "Pollution" by Limp Bizkit and prepared
himself for whatever stipulation Lumberjack had in store for them. Out came Lumberjack
carrying a table under one arm and a microphone in the other. "If you couldn't
figure it out by the huge block of wood I'm carrying, tonight we're gonna have ourselves
a Table Match. First person to be put through a table loses. Think you can handle
that, Taz?" Taz ignored Lumberjack's comment and was ready to fight. The rivalry
between these two men had reached such a boiling point that neither wrestler could
compete without the other costing them the match. The ref rang the bell and the
match got under way. Taz shuffled around the ring waiting for Lumberjack to attack
and finally nailed him in the side of the head with a high roundhouse kick. The
True Main Event wanted to return to his roots by incorporating more martial arts
into his match. Lumberjack could tell Taz's intentions and after taking a couple
of strong kicks, Lumberjack caught Taz's leg and took him to the ground with a single
leg crab. The King of Quit planned on attacking Taz's already weakened knees the
whole match no matter how long it took. Taz broke free from the hold and hardly
seemed effected by it. He wasted no time returning to brain-shaking kicks and soon
had Lumberjack seeing stars. Taz took Lumberjack's head and planted it right onto
the mat with a face buster followed by an axe kick. While Lumberjack tried to stop
his head from throbbing, Taz set up the table. Lumberjack was positioned for a Showstopper,
but he managed to knee his way free and pound Taz's head onto the table. Taz turned
around and dodged Lumberjack just in time as he came at him with a jumping knee attack.
Lumberjack's momentum sent him flying over the table and flat on his face. When
Lumberjack returned to his f! eet, Taz was there to execute his instant-winning move,
the Lights Out. Taz fell on Lumberjack for the easy 3-count, but the ref brought
it back to his attention that he had to send Lumberjack through a table. Taz went
outside the ring and dragged in another table. The True Main Event stacked the tables
2-high and then placed Lumberjack on top of the highest table. Both men were standing
on top of the highest table and right as Taz went for the Showstopper on Lumberjack,
one of the bottom table's legs buckled and sent both men dangerously down to the
mat. To make matters worse, the top table ended up rolling on top of Taz and adding
more impact to his fall. Nobody knew if either wrestler would return to their feet
after the surprise fall they took. After a very long 10-count, Lumberjack and Taz
had managed to get back up and resume fighting. Lumberjack laid Taz out with a russian
leg sweep and then added more injury by ex! ecuting three standing Sequoia Splash
in a row. Taz was gasping for air as Lumberjack locked him in a longbow backbreaker
and followed that up with a STF. Lumberjack's original plan was to focus on Taz's
knees, but after the spill both of them took, Lumberjack knew that any part of Taz's
body was fair game. As Taz stood back up, Lumberjack drove his knee deep into his
gut. Taz hunched over in pain as Lumberjack smoothly wrapped his arms and smashed
his face into the mat with a Log Jam. Lumberjack rolled out of the ring searching
ringside for a particular item and finally found what he was looking for: a ladder.
He threw the 6-feet tall weapon into the ring and then stood it adjacent to the
good table. After spending about five minutes to lay Taz across the table, Lumberjack
climbed to the top. He yelled "TIMBER" at the top of his lungs and then
went flying of the top of the ladder with a guillotine leg drop. Taz quickly moved
out of the way and watched as his opponent went crashing through the table. The
True Main Event raised his hand in victory and honestly believed the match was over.
Before the ref could point out that he did not PUT Lumberjack through the table,
Lumberjack ran up behind Taz and smashed him right through the half-standing table
with a Timber bulldog. Taz's head was busted open and he wasn't even aware of the
fact that Lumberjack just put him through a table to receive the victory. Lumberjack
triumphantly boasted how Taz's skill was no match for his brain. He told everyone
at ringside, "I always have a plan, da**it! It may not be a good one, but it
always gets the job done."
Apocalypse
banged his head all the way to the ring and represented Social Anarchy in every way.
The big man still held a grudge with Dakota Dick that originally started during
the middle of January, and he wanted the cowboy to prove himself by defending the
Heavyweight title. The Heavyweight Champion sported his cowboy hat to the entrance
ramp, but substituted his famous red bat for a microphone. "Apocalypse, you
talk about getting payback for what I did to you and Taz, but you seem to forget
that you already got it. After you raised my hand in victory at 'Dead Man Walking'
you went on to knock my @$$ out. Well tonight, it's my turn for sum PAYBACK!"
Dakota Dick threw down the mic and his Heavyweight belt, and ran head strong into
the ring. He tackled Apocalypse to the mat with the impact of a wrecking ball, and
then began bashing him in the head with bare-fisted punches. Apocalypse scraped
Dakota Dick's eyes to get him off and then started pounding on his back with some
forearm smashes. The big man locked Dakota Dick in a reverse chin lock and laughed
as the redneck tried to break free. He eventually did and as both men returned to
their feet, Dakota Dick decked Apocalypse with a nose-breaking straight punch. The
ref started the 10-count as Apocalypse slipped in and out of consciousness. The
big man stood back up before ten and was slammed hard onto the mat with a samoan
drop. Dakota Dick hummed the tune from "Deliverance" as he wrapped Apocalypse
in the Hog Tie. While Apocalypse tried to break free, Dakota Dick got right next
to his ear and said, "You so purty. I'm gonna hav to make you my b!#@h."
Dakota Dick then laughed his @$$ off watching Apocalypse flail his body in desperation
to get free. He eventually did and started some offense after a big mistake by Dakota
Dick. Dakota Dick had Apocalypse down, but instead of continuing his attack he started
talking $#!* to the fans. Apocalypse immediately capitalized on this and threw the
champ on his back with a full nelson slam. When Dakota Dick stood up again, Apocalypse
swept him off his feet and laid him out with a side slam. The big man grabbed Dakota
Dick by the legs and spun him around like a helicopter blade. Dakota Dick was on
one knee trying to stop his head from spinning when Apocalypse almost decapitated
him with a vicious big boot. The big man went for a pin, and got all the way to
two before the champ kicked out. Apocalypse then lifted Dakota Dick off the mat,
chokeslammed him, and went for another pin. The ref got all the way to two and a
half, but Dakota Dick miraculously kicked out. Apocalypse decided that if Dakota
Dick wasn't willing to take the loss lying down, then he'd have to lose by submission.
Dakota Dick was barely standing as Apocalypse got behind him and attempted to lock
on! the Hangman. The cowboy grabbed Apocalypse's arm and flipped him forward over
his shoulder. As Apocalypse got back up, Dakota Dick grabbed him under the arms
and bashed him onto the mat with a spinning sitdown sidewalk slam. Apocalypse's
back was aching as he slowly stood up, and Dakota Dick took advantage of that by
performing multiple german suplexes. He folded Apocalypse's body like an accordion
and then assaulted his back even more with a side backbreaker. Apocalypse was teetering
on one knee as Dakota Dick held him in a headlock while punching him in the ear.
With the big man seeing double, Dakota Dick felt it was time to set up the Dick
Drop. With all of his might, Dakota Dick lifted Apocalypse up and practically buried
him into the mats. Apocalypse was knocked out cold as Dakota Dick wrapped up his
legs and retained his Heavyweight title with the 1-2-3 pinfall. The champ stood
over his opponent and said in a cocky! tone, "Next time, you'll know better
then to f**k with Dick!"
