Taz Interview
The interview
began with Taz coming out on crutches and talking about the disappointing turnout
he had in his last title shot. He said his injury wasn't serious and he hoped to
be back in action shortly. Then, Apocalypse came up form behind him, took one of
his crutches and began mocking him. While his back was turned, Taz took the other
crutch and shattered it across the back of Apocalypse. Then, he executed a Showstopper
on the big man through a table, proving the whole injury was just a set up. Taz finished
his interview by telling F.N.A. if he wanted to show up, then the same would happen
to him.
WYDW Tag Team Championship Match
- The Environmental Destruction Agency defeated the Fallen Angels with Lumberjack's
Timber to capture the Tag Team Title.
Before
the match started, Lumberjack came out and told how Apocalypse had laid out Ranger
X in the back in order to give his men a 2 on 1 advantage. Despite that fact, he
claimed he could take out the two of them single handed. The Fallen Angels showed
good team work as they wore down Lumberjack. However, after planting Badland onto
a sign with a Log Jam, Lumberjack took out Minion and then executed a running Timber
off of a tree to earn the 1-2-3 and the Tag Team Championship.
Apocalypse Interview
- After the match,
Apocalypse came out and confronted the Fallen Angels. He told them that he basically
gave them the match and they failed to come through with the victory. Then, he said
they were good for nothing and that he didn't need them anymore. Then, Badland and
Minion challenged him to a match to prove just how good they actually were.
Handicap Match
- Mr. Magic and Dakota Dick defeated Apocalypse with a D.D.T.
The
two former Fallen Angels came out in their original gimmicks. This match was dominated
by Mr. Magic and Dakota Dick. Apocalypse gave very little offense. The two men pounded
on him using all kinds of weapons. At one point, Dakota Dick bulldogged Apocalypse
head first through a table. Following a D.D.T., both Mr. Magic and Dakota Dick jumped
on top of the big man and simultaneously pinned him for the victory. Following the
match, they grabbed Apocalypse's title belt and ran to the back to celebrate.
Lumberjack Interview
- Lumberjack came
out to discuss his newly acquired Tag Team Championship. He said he felt like the
victory was tainted, since his partner couldn't fight along side him. Then, he said
the Environmental Destruction Agency was going to put all their focus on retaining
the Titles, so he would be relinquishing the Hardcore Title. He called out any of
the wrestlers backstage to come take a shot at the title in a brawl-for-all.
WYDW Hardcore Championship Match
Elimination Match
- Taz defeated Magnum, Dakota Dick, and Apocalypse to capture the Hardcore Title.
Lumberjack
was the special referee for the match. As soon as the match started, the four men
paired up as Magnum and Dakota Dick went at it and Taz took it to Apocalypse. As
Taz stood on the table fixing to attempt a high flying maneuver, Apocalypse grabbed
him and powerslammed him through a table. However, as he celebrated, Lumberjack interfered
and hit him with the Timber, which allowed Magnum to make the easy pin. Later, Dakota
Dick was eliminated by Taz after Taz nailed him with a Famasser. This left just Magnum
and Taz. After Lumberjack once again interfered by hitting Taz with a sign, Magnum
was able to nail his Signature P.I. Punches. However, in the end, Taz finished Magnum
off with his Lights Out Superkick to capture his first Hardcore Championship. At
the conclusion of the match, Taz attacked Lumberjack from behind.
WYDW Heavyweight Championship Match
Ladder Match
- Apocalypse defeated Lumberjack to retain the Heavyweight Title.
This
was the first ladder match in WYDW history. The heat from earlier in the event showed
in this match as the two men brawled using everything in sight as a weapon, including
the ladder. Throughout the match, both men made attempts to climb the ladder, but
to no avail. At one point, Apocalypse chokeslammed Lumberjack off the ladder and
then looked to send him through a table. But, as he jumped off the ladder, Lumberjack
moved allowing Apocalypse to go through the table himself. Finally, after planting
him in the middle of the ring with a D.D.T., Lumberjack made one last attempt up
the ladder, but Apocalypse made it to his feet just in time and put Lumberjack in
the Hangman as he made his way up the ladder. This gave Apocalypse a free shot up
the ladder and allowed him to retain his title.
