After Venom's transformation to Apocalypse, the friendship turned to violence.Entering into the WYDW tournament with no alliances or friends Taz managed to fight his way to the finals only to have the feud with Apocalypse ignite even further.Losing the finals was a minor set back as Taz went on to gain the hardcore title after Lumberjack vacated the belt.
