ever again

daddy, remember when you used to love me?

goodnight, daddy (see you soon)
a pitch-black room
of hope and fear denying childhood

[whispers] hello, daddy (back so soon?)
pitch-black torture,
naked helplessness

daddy, what are you doing?
sick desire fills a pitch-black room
with its poisoned touch

daddy, please stop!
a pitch-black room
suicide by surrender, by submission of youth

the door cracks open and he walks out
a pitch-black room,
tainted and stained

just lay still, remain rigid and numb
shrink into oblivion, a mental death
daddy, why?
