problem with warranties and extended warranties is that most are not worth
the paper they are written on. If you get a replacement part, most of the
time you have to install it. If you want them to fix it you have to pay to
ship it to them (estimate $40.00). Remember you are not at fault and you
may have paid extra for the warranty and you still have to pay more. When
calling most call support centers they are paid to get you off the
telephone (clear the call) not by helping to fix your problem. They will
read pre-written scripts to resolve the problem. If that doesn't work they
may ask you to use their CD to restore the system as they delivered it to
you thereby erasing all your programs and data. |
