5/8/01 I just watched American Beauty for about the sixth time. Damn, that's a good movie. Tears flowed from me like water bursting through some kind of bank. Possibly a sand bank. There, that was sufficiently poetic. The floating plastic bag scene gets my vote for best scene of 2000, and Wes Bentley should have recieved some sort of award for his performance. For such a young actor (he's my age I think) he has such incredible insensity.
