12/08/01 - 8.04pm Ahhh, wrestling. Is there anything it can't do? In my opinion....no. I just watched the "Invasion" pay-per view on sky and it was pretty darn good. Only a couple of real stand out matches, but the atmosphere and build up was enough to make most of the matches interesting. I have to lend the tape to Damo, so I wont give away any of the results, but I will say this: What a fucking cool ending! Oh, and while we're on the topic, Kurt Angle is the fucking man! In the absence of Triple H, Angle is now my fave rassler. He's taken on this new persona; that of the really intense leader type. He doesn't even pretend to be all whiny and cowardly like he has in the past. But he still has a heel-ish edge. Basically, he's the dog's bollocks! (Which is a good thing). I also have to comment on the effectiveness of the WWF publicity department. The build-up for the main event of the night honestly had me believing that the future of the Earth itself depended on the outcome of the match. Going off the topic of wrestling for the moment, i'd like to give a message to George Lucas: What the hell are you thinking!? How could you actually name Episode II "Attack of the Clones"!? Honestly, it's like he's actually trying to alienate Star Wars fans. Bearded git..... Well, i'm off to have a snack and then settle in to watch Raw, where I will witness the aftermath of "Invasion". Jiff!
