It's Matt!

Greetings, cyber-people!! Welcome to the Land of Darkness and Really Big Mud Puddles.

I am the Black~Adder, but you may call me Matt. I come from the great old state of Texas . . . at least it was great before G.W. Bush got a hold on it . . . but anyway, I now reside in Springfield, Oregon, about a mile from this wonderful site's curator. Nicknames, nicknames . . . well I really can't put any of them here . . . this is a family oriented site after all. Hm . . . oh. If you're ever out and about, and you see a mean lookin' teenager with black hair, black nails, black . . . well, everything but skin, possibly walking around with a really pretty girl whom he doesn't look like he deserves, it's probably me.

I am a rabid pessismist . . . so don't be so freaking cheery!

Alrighty, my favorite movie is the 1986 classic "Highlander", featuring Sean Connery, who is also my favorite actor. Other great movies: Blade Runner, 2001, The Crow, and all the Bond film except Diamonds Are Forever and A View To A Kill . . . what a coupla sttinkers. My favorite band is, in fact, The Hottest Band In The World: KISS. My favorite member of KISS is Gene, the big, fire breathing, blood spitting, bass pounding, tongue waggling guy, and my favorite of their records is Hotter Than Hell, my favorite song is "Black Diamond". Other great music makers: Aerosmith, Rush, The Cure, Joy Division, David Bowie, Meat Loaf, Bauhaus, NIN, Iron Maiden, Ozzy and Black Sabbath. . . and on and on and on. My favorite author is a tie: Stephen King or Tom Clancy, my favorite books being The Gunslinger and Without Remorse, respectfully. I've read a whole jerkload of great books, so I won't list any of my other favorites. I love all animals, so really don't have a favorite. My favorite color(see above) is black. And no comments about how black is really a tint and not a color. You can't have a favorite tint, dammit! My favorite musical instrument is the bass guitar . . . my favorite bass being the B.C. Rich Warlock. I don't watch TV alot, but the few shows I do enjoy are: The Black~Adder and it's various sequels, The X-Files, NYPD Blue, Babylon 5(no sci-fi nerd jokes, I mean it!), Ally McBeal, Seinfeld, and The Simpsons. And VH1's Rock Show, which I never miss.

My dreams. Well I have this one recurring nightmare in which one of my female friends beats me sensless with an umbrella . . . anyway. My goal in life is to be the McCartney figure in the heavy metal equivalent of The Beatles. A really loud Oasis, essentially. I, armed with a big black bass and three good, musically talented friends, will retake the music industry in the name of metal! Rap will be washed away, and we shall cleanse this industry!! Ahem.

What do I believe in? I believe in America! I'm a rabid, angry Democrat. We must smite George W. Bush, and return the country to the people who elected Al Gore! And here are some words to live by: Conformity is the first step toward totalitarianism. Rebel, baby!!!!!
