Elisha!

1. My name is Elishimaharishimasheshimaheshyogi, Elisha for short. [i'm just kidding about that, it's a childhood nickname my dad gave me because of this whole Beatles guru thing..] My friends, well my buddy Tania in particular, call me Sammy or Snarky [that's the abreviated version of my wonderful list of nicknames.] I am a Sydneysider, and that's in the wonderful land of Oz! I feel connected very strongly to the wizard of Oz, I'm trying to work out whether I'd be Toto, or the Cowardly Lion- both are totally cool characters. I think I'm the only person in history to hate Dorothy though [i like do like judy!], probably because I always wanted a pair of ruby slippers and i was jealous... I was born on a glorious day in the middle of summer, 31st of January 1984. On that day a volcanoe erupted [seriously] and a psychic was on the front cover of the paper. Anyways i hate my birthday because bad things always happen on that day. There's a list of things, and it's long which goes to prove this theory, but one of the more constant ones is that it's always the first day back at school! eek.. [in a few more months i'll be finished school FOREVER! *does the happy dance*] Dave is my younger brother, but he also doubles as a best friend [we're only 13months apart. i swear my parents didnt wait. damn them... oh i'm not really related to my family, i'm the product of a science experiment gone horribly wrong] Then there's my big sister Nikki who's turning 21 in July, we're exactly 31/2 years apart- to the day to the hour to the minute. I am really really tall, and one day i'm going to be a basket ball player. well if you change the word tall to short and basket ball player to unemployed dole bludger you get a pretty accurate picture of what i'm like.
I'm a pretty spiritual person, believe it or not. I believe in an interventionist God and all that. I also believe that there are forces in the universe beyond our comprehension and those people who close themselves off to that side are really missing out on something. One of the things you've gotta know about me is that if I don't like something i won't do it. Now it sounds pretty selfserving and what have you, but i'm doing all the subjects i love at school and i'm having fun. i think that you shouldn't compromise with the important stuff like love, work,etc. That's how you become a sellout- and that's something i never want to be. I'm really frightend because i have all these ideals and i want to be a director, and i dont think that i could ever prostitute my creative integrity for the sake of some big movie studio. I'm going to have get used to being unemployed i reckon.. One of the suggested questions was "what do you dream..." well i don't actually have a lot of dreams, but i'm pretty good at reading them. I do it all the time for my friends and teachers at school. :-) lots of fun. i also read palms which is really interesting. It amazes me how everything in your life is connected and if something happens in one area you'll see the results in another. If you want me to read your palm just send me a scan pic of both palms and i'll see what i can do.

These are a few of my favourite things. Things shaped like turtles and potato that mashes, Simpsons that make me laugh so hard that couch starts to crashes, brown paper packages tied up with string [ignore the possible drug reference..] these are a few of my favourite things...Ninja and turtles and movies about slashers these are a few of my favourite things... When my dad bites, when my life stinks, when i'm feeling bad, i simply remember my favourite things and then i realise i'm saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddd

My favourite sites at the moment are: www.mightybigtv.com- they write really funny recaps of tv shows and the ppl in the forums totally rock. www.monicathemusical.com- the guy who wrote this site is crazy and a total legend, be prepared to laugh at this spoof of musicals and american current events. www.tomatonation.com- it discusses the important things like what to do if your cat has ass breath. the person who runs this site is a totally legend [she also owns mightybigtv] and its pretty much just some of her brain droppings. definately a worthwhile read.
Hmm pictures, well yes i am going to have to think about that one for awhile.. i think i'll send you in a turtle power thing- i have yet to decide.

One day i will be a guru and i will call apon you, my minions, to join my cult- i mean spiritual movement.... hehe i'm just kidding. i have a pretty wacky sense of humour that is missed on a lot of people- but not my friends!Oh watch out for my theatre company, Frankandfregal Productions, we'll be putting on Les Miserables [my fave musical] when me and my buddy abby get it up and running. and my film company Katleash productions should be doing some cool things too..
