| In An Instant I felt the cold steel in my hand, and then a sudden reel shook my body. His scream replays over and over in my mind. My five year old brother slipped lifelessly to the blood-splattered floor. I held him close and rocked him, till the Police took him away from me. In an instant, our lives changed. Why? I wanted to scream. Why did i take my brother away? As they buried him in the earth, i said a silent prayer. My mother wept as they took me away. My parents lost both their children in a matter of little time. I called out when i saw their tears, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean too, I was only trying to be a man."
