Howdy, Here we are to help you submit some writing to me. I figured giving some sort of guideline might make things easier. *shrugs* Let me know if this helped you, and if it needs any changes or any other questions answered. This is simple to use, just check the respective section for what you're submitting, and see if there's everything there that's needed....read on! ||Something else that applies to ALL writing, do NOT send me anything ||that isn't yours! ========================= POETRY ========================= Okay, so you want to send in poetry? That's perfectly fine, it's accepted happily and I always wish to get more. Simple requirements here, just read them off... 1.A name that you want to go by, make sure it isn't taken! 2.Let me know if you want your E-mail linked to your name or not? If so, give me the E-mail address. 3.Profanity is okay, but if it's ALL profanity, or all sexual/violent, or just anything that doesn't look like I'd take it, I most likely won't. Keep it within reason. Have fun! ========================= RAMBLES ========================= Ramble are simple. If you feel that you want to just give your opinion on a certain topic of your choice, write it down and send it. If people want to they can send in a ramble arguing against yours, and there'll be a sort of debate going on...that is if this ever gets going...send in rambles! And now what I need from you... 1.A name that you wish to go by that isn't taken. 2.Let me know if you want your E-mail linked to your name or not? If so, give me the E-mail address. 3.Tell me the subject of your ramble. The subject is the title, so make sure it makes sense. 4.A ramble is NOT one sentence stating your opinion, have something to back it up. 5.If you're debating someone elses ramble, make sure you point it out in some way. Simply giving it the same title as the one you're debating should work. 6.Be kind to the other person. Just because you disagree doesn't give you the right to be downright rude. If you are too rude, I will not post your ramble. Have fun! ======================== REVIEWS ======================== A review is a review, pretty understandable. It can review the normal media, or something else, such as a restaurant, a type of cloth, a sibling, or the smell of freshly baked brownies. Let your imagination run wild. 1.A name that you wish to go by that isn't taken. 2.Let me know if you want your E-mail linked to your name or not? If so, give me the E-mail address. 3.State clearly for me what it is you are reviewing. 4.You can review something already reviewed by someone else, that's perfectly fine. 5.Reviews are out of 10, and go into the tenths. For example 7.9 is acceptable. If you put simply 6, I will assume you mean 6.0 and if you put 5.68, I will round it to the tenths. 6.Have a main writing, being one paragraph or several reviewing the thing reviewed. Besides that, have a high and low simple thing for people to glance out. With that, just point out the highs and lows, or any other interesting thing to point out. 7.Lastly, give the 'vital stats' as sometimes called. If it's a book, include author, title, pages, and anything else you see fit. If it's food, maybe describe the food. If you can't think of anything, be creative. If you wish for a vital stat of chocolate to be 'Tastes: Yummy' that is acceptable. That should be it...remember, include a final score, it makes things easier for someone to glance at and decide what they think. ======================== STORIES ======================== Stories are probably the easiest to send. It can be a short story, a long story, or anything else that doesn't fit the other categories. A story can also be what some sites call a 'fanfic', which is a story written using characters or setting from a different media or such. It's just an expansion onto the original story. Search for them on the net if you still don't know what I mean. And you're welcome to submit plays or anything else you may have written. Now for the goods.... 1.A name that you wish to go by that isn't taken. 2.Let me know if you want your E-mail linked to your name or not? If so, give me the E-mail address. 3.Title of the story is appreciated, I don't wish to guess. 4.If you never wish to finish an unfinished story, let me know. It WILL stay on the site, but it will just get marked as being unworked on. 5.I'm lax on subject matter, can be serious, funny, whatever. 6.I will not spellcheck for you, I don't have the time. Edit it yourself. Or ask me if you really want, I may do it if I have the time. 7. Give me a VERY short description of what people should expect, kinda like above. About 3-6 words, saying stuff like 'sunny, suspenseful, epic, cheesy' or anything else that describes what people should expect. That should just about be it for stories... ======================= ======================= Okay, phew...done with all that! I hope I got just about everything answered. If there are any other questions, don't be hesitant to ask me. Send mail to: Wibblewozzer@hotmail.com That is also where you'll want to send anything you're submitting. Enjoy, hope you enjoy the stuff on the site, and everything else others send in. And remember, if you're not sure if I'll accept something, send it in, it never hurts to have me look at it. ~Wibble~ Wibblewozzer@hotmail.com |
