Imbolc continued

Return the athame to the altar and end the rite by sweeping the circle in a counterclockwise direction with the bosom (consecrated broom) to uncast the circle and to symbolize the 'sweeping out' of the old.  Extinguish the candles.

During this ceremony, bless any seeds to be planted this spring.

A garden is a wonderful thing to keep.  Growing greenery, flowers, or vegies, its so easy and doesnt have to be this elaberate.  It shows the Goddess we appreciate so much the things she gives us.  And we can give our 5 minutes a day divotion through out plants, by watering them, feeding them or even talking to them. (that really does help)

Personally, i live in an apartment so i have no place for a garden, but i have many potten plants, and come spring im gonna grow my own veggies in pots.  I dont like store bought veggies, they always make me sick no matter where i buy them because of the fertilizers and chemicals they spray on them.  They tell you to scrub the vegetable and it'll be ok, but its soaked into the vegatable, so it does no good to scrub unless you scrub until the whole vegetable is gone, which of course would be pointless.  Ther fertilizers do not good unless they soak into the plant, otherwise the rain could just wash it off.
