
This
is a meditation that will not only help you heal yourself, but will
help you with astral work later, as well as understanding yourself
enough that you will understand what you see in others.
I have
personally found that if I eat well, and then go to the gym and work
out, then stretch, my meditation can be really good. Mediation is just
as good without working out... although I have found working out gets
rid of the urge to run around and do something else after meditating.
Drinking caffeine makes it very hard to mediate. As does
sugary foods, because you are always so high strung.
Lay down
comfortably on a rug or on your bed. Try not to cross any body parts,
spread out if it is comfortable to you.
Close your eyes, now,
just relax by taking a breath - not too deep. Now hold this air in the
upper part of your head, your eyes and nose. Counting to 3 and then
letting it go slowly, breathing in again slowly. Do this a few times.
When you exhale, feel the air leave the bottom of your lungs and all
your cells so that you can fill everything with fresh air.
If
you are still restless then tense everything up in your body, make a
fist, squeeze your muscles all over and hold it there.. then release.
Do this a few times if needed.
Now with your eyes closed, look
at your body in your imagination. Wiggle your toes, and see them
wiggle in your mind.
Imagine a light that surrounds you, it is
be pure, healthy, clean, loving, and accepting. Pull it into your toe
on your left foot. As you see the light penetrate your toe, see the
colour saturate into your toes and see it shine brightly. Feel all the
tension in that part of you disappear. It is being purified now,
healing, relaxing. When you have done your toe, pull the light up
farther into your foot, and then work up to your knee. Seeing the
blood in your legs cleanse, the muscles relax and heal. See the fluid
in your knees heal, and circulate, and become relaxed. Work up to your
bum, and then do the other leg.
If you have troubles at first
keeping the light saturated in all areas, do not worry, simply
resaturate the area and move on. These areas that have problems,
sometimes are telling you they are stiff or sore. So spend time on
them. If you still need help with the colour, then imagine a tension
bandage soaking in this fluid light like neon colour, and then pick it
up and wrap it around you. Or dip a big fat paint brush in the light
and paint your body. Do anything that works. Even immerse yourself in
a bathtub full of this light.
After you have done both legs
and your bum then go to your tummy. I am not going to show you any
chakra work today. But I will say, that if the light you are using
does not work for your stomach, or any of your internal organs, do not
force the issue. If the light that your mind wants to use is say a
nice healthy green, use it. Or orange.. any colour, as long as it is
pure and clean looking. Running smoothly. See the colour go through
your veins, through your organs, and clean it of any sickness, or
debris, let the colour run clean and clear.
Work up through
your body. Down your arms and fingers. Then up your spine. Again, make
sure to relax and see the light clean and clear. All impurities are
clean.
With your heart, see the brightness so loving, and
accepting to you.
When you get to your throat, see the light
growing there, clean and strong, breathe it into the top of your nose,
notice how good this light of yours feels as you breathe it in. Feel
yourself getting more confident, and feel yourself more loved.
As the light moves from your neck to your nose, feel the light
go to the back of your head. In your mind, see the colour even get
brighter. Let it be like a soft wisp of light in your mind, touching
any sore spot, your temples, the top of your skull, your eyes,
everywhere, flooding your brain, and feel the tension slip away.
Relax like this for awhile, maintaining the glowing feeling.
when you are ready, just see the colour fade away, but know you are
healthy, and full of light, and have done some imaginative work that
will help you with your astral work later on.
I would also
recommend that you should perhaps shield after or before this, but let
the colour be clean in your shield.
If you feel really
energetic later this is good. Some people might experience such a big
buzz they can not go to sleep at night. Just put your hands on the
table and push some of the energy out into the table. You will now be
able to sleep. You can do the same with legs too.
This works
really well when you have injured yourself, the healing happens so
much quicker. You will also feel so happy after this. And perhaps
gentle. After awhile of doing this, you will notice when you eat
certain food or drink such as caffeine, what it does to your body.
Take note of this in a journal, and you will soon understand your body
so much better.
