Yule Brew |
~4 parts cinnamon
~4 parts allspice
~2 parts nutmeg
~2 parts lemon peel
~2 parts clove
~1 part bay
~2 parts chamomile
~50 parts black tea
Stir together and serve hot or cold.
Reindeer Punch
2 cups orange juice
2 cups lemon juice
2 cups grenadine syrup
3 quarts ginger ale
1 pint of quartered strawberries or sliced fruit in season.
Mix all ingredients.
Pour over block of ice to chill.
Just before
serving, add ginger ale and fruit.
~ Real Hard Cider ~
1 Gal unprocessed cider, free of preservatives
¼ cup sugar
Add sugar.
Cook over a low heat until sugar is completely dissolved.
Let cool and return to gallon.
Stretch a latex balloon { giant ones are best } over the lip.
Keep in a cool, dark place for at least a month.
Check balloon to let out gases from time to time.
