Imbolc/ Candlemas
Northern Hemisphere: February 1st
Southern Hemisphere: August 1st
This night, halfway between the winter solstice and the Vernal(Spring) equinox is the time when nature begins to stir unseen and awaken from winter's death-like sleep.

The circle might be adorned with white flowers, Snowdrops, Christmas rose or paper whites -- or not adorned at all, symbolising Nature's apparent barreness at this time. The ritual might include lighting many candles to symbolise the sun's increasing light. Many witches perform a rite called "Bride's Bed"(I don't have this full rite but I will work on getting it), this rite consists of Dressing a doll made with corn or other grain and pacing it in a basket with a wand representing the God. The Goddess is honoured at this sabbat as the Corn Maiden and the God is Honoured as the Spirit Father.
Solitairy Ritual For This Sabbat
A symbol of the season, such as a representation of a Snowflake, a white flower, or perhaps some snow in a crystal container can be placed on the altar. An orange candle annointed with musk, Cinnamon, Frankincense or Rosemary oil, unlit, should also be there. Snow can be melted for the water during the Circle Casting(Go to the Book Of Shadows for this Ritual)

Arrange the Altar, light the candles and incense, cast the circle, and invoke the God/dess.

Say such words as the Following:

"Flame of candles, burning so bright.
Instill in me your passionate light.
Father of the Sky, fire so deep.
I welcome thee as the Earth stirs,
Below it's mantle of sleep.
I celebrate mother earth.
I celebrate Sky father"
Light the prange candle from the candle that represents your Fire Element(At the south Direction). Slowly walk the Circle Clockwise, bearing the candle before you. Say these or simlar words:
"All teh land is embraced in winter.
A chill is in teh air.
But, Lord od the sun.
You are with us.
Unseen, you watch over  us.
Hail Father of the sky!
Hail and welcome!"
Stop before the altar, holding aloft the candle. Gaze at it's flame. Visualise yourself blossoming with creativity, with renewed energy and strength.

If you need to look into the future or past, now is the Ideal time!

Celebrate the Simple Feast, then release the Circle.
