CHAPTER 2
The priest did not comment for a while. There was a big akward silence in the car until Vash randomly began humming a song. The priest was slowly getting irritated. Trixsie was falling asleep. Vash continued humming.
"I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE! IF YOU WANT TO HEAR MUSIC THEN I'LL TURN ON THE RADIO...OKAY!?" Wolfwood blurted out at Vash. Vash sunk down into his seat and nodded in agreement to Wolfwood's suggestion. Wolfwood turned the radio on. Vash began figeting.
"So where's your bike?" Vash asked randomly.
Wolfwood looked into the mirror to see Vash in the back. Wolfwood raised one eye brow at him.
"You're really bored aren't you? Angelina is in a garage. I didn't think you wanted to be picked up in that anyway. Plus it's in need of repairs." The priest answered as he lifted up his cigarette to take another puff.
Vash mummbled something about Wolfwood's bike.
"WHAT WAS THAT VASH!?" Wolfwood asked angrily.
Vash's eyes looked off to the side and sarcastically said, "Oh...Nothinnnng."
Wolfwood ignored Vash. "Hey girl," Wolfwood called out to the back seat to get her attention.
"Yes?" She replied slowly a little dazed by being half awoken up.
"You alright? You've been quiet through out the entire drive, somethin' bugging you?" Wolfwood asked sounding a little concerned.
She shook her head slowly and inhaled deeply and continued looking out the window. She had no idea where she was going to stay after the hotel. The doctor said he would call in the morning to tell her where she would be staying permanentley, until she was stable again to live on her own. Her apartment would be no good, because whatever attacked her...probably already knew she lived there. The incident that happened to her didn't make any sense at all. Why would a car suddenly be dropping blood from its ceiling? It was as if the car was bleeding. But that wasn't it. It was something else. She never did anything in her life that was abnormal or out of the ordinary, besides on how she dressed, but that was it. And this event changed her boring life forever. Her arm had been replaced with another arm. That's not exactly normal in a human's life. But similar things happen to other humans all around the world, so Trixsie didn't really make a big deal out of what happened. Trixsie's eyes studied the red coated man next to her. He looked so calm. She looked at his eyes. They were a beautiful green-blue. Trixsie looked away.
"Don't worry we'll be there shortly," Wolfwood said quietly not even bothering to look back in the rear view miror.

They finally arrived at their destination. Wolfwood pulled into the entrance and drove and stopped along a curve. Wolfwood pressed a button, while still siting down in his seat, to open the trunk in the car. Vash got out of the car first and walked around the car to open Trixsie's door. Trixsie snapped out of her daze as soon as the door was opened. She didn't realize Vash had gotten out of the car. He greeted her with a big smile. She looked at him weird and got out of the car. Vash sighed as he failed at yet another attempt to get good attention from a girl. But Vash didn't give up so easily. He ran in front of Trixsie before she could pick up her belongings in the trunk. He quickly grabbed them and began walking into the hotel without looking at Trixsie's expression. Trixsie was getting irritated but she didn't show it at all. Wolfwood got out of the car to make peace with her. He blew out some more smoke from his mouth as he began to speak.
"Listen, girl...sorry about before. " Wolfwood apolygized.
Trixsie didn't look at Wolfwood but she nodded to his apology instead of accepting it. Wolfwood just caught a glimpse of Vash walking into the hotel with Trixsie's things.
"If I were you, girl...I would be happy to have a bodyguard like him. I know sometimes he acts like a dumb ass but at least you don't have to worry about him taking advantage of you like some perverts in the world would. So you should respect him," Wolfwood stated.
" I know who he is. And I'm sure he's a wonderful bodyguard too," she rolled her eyes, "he just has yet to proove it." She responded.
Wolfwood could understand first impressions with Vash. No one could really believe that he is the one and only "Vash the Stampede" but it's a fact, and people have to face facts sooner or later.
