Disastrous Intensity

Intensity abound
All around
Chaos becomes a sport.

Disaster, My Master
Screaching faster
Finding my hidden fort.

It's a game, all the same
Demanding fame
An actress, I play my part.

Careening, and screaming
My brow, gleaming
I'd stop, if I were smart.

Twirling, Swirling
Emotions whirling
Missing the edge of the stage.

Falling, Bawling
My role is stalling
Forgetting, a moment, the rage.

My Lily, so frilly
Feeling Silly
Shivering at the mere thought.

She sees me, needs me
Her kindness feeds me
Am I teaching, or being taught?
