Himalayan Mini Rex
Mini Rex come in the Himalayan Varieties black and blue. The color is to be a clean bright white, with the points (ears, nose, feet, and tail) to be an intense shade of black or blue. Being a thermal color, they intensity will vary with the temperature conditions that the rabbit is born, or lives in. The colder the temperatures, the more intense the coloring will be. Himalayans are born pink, and closely resemble a Red Eyed White. At about 10 days to 2 weeks of age, the slightest hints of color begin to show on the points, and gradualy darken as the animal matures. The breed standard disqualifies for any white spot, or total lack of color on any or all of the points. Also, the eyes must be RED, or PINK. No other eye color is acceptable. Any other color on the points besides the black or blue is unrecognized, and also disqualifies the animal in ARBA competition.
