Fishing July 2002

Well as it turned out when my bad luck struck again this time ALOT of good came out of it .. When good ole,bessie stranded me, she stranded me at Grimmy's sisters house.. Whom just happens to live in a private lake in north eastern Ohio..

We had a blast, catching  large and small mouth bass as well as Crappies some as big as the darn bass.The bluegill were also plentifull and we threw back way more then we kept.. We caught most of them on" wax worms" and nighties..

We also got the hose out where Grimmy, Bri, K and I all got wet..Least none of us accidently took a drink in the lake though the girls did go swimming and Grimmy towed em around the lake in a row boat.

This pic, he looks real tired and with good reason... He'd been up almost 24 hrs and no lips lol it wasn't cuz of me... We hit a school of bass and good luck and we wouldn't stop till we had enough to have a hell of a fish fry.. Though Grimmy caught the most..Which was fine with me since he hadn't been fishing for over some 10 yrs...

From left to right.. the first two were about 18" long, the third bass was about 13" the last four were crappie's, the two smallest were what I caught LOL Though the next day I also landed a 18"...

Every good angler sometimes gets hung up.. Grimmy had his eyes set on a bouy out in the lake in which he rowed out and saved his bait...

Here's Makalea with her first catch of the day.. A lil bluegill.. she fell into a lil school of them and they followed her around where ever she dropped line.. Though for her experience that was all she needed to keep her happy... she had a BLAST !

Here's Bri with a lil help holding the whopper she caught.. can anyone say BASS..She didn't know it was so big then when she saw it she started screamin MOMMM come help me.. God I love my lil anglers...

Grimmy, honey thanks for letting us have that time with you up there.. and also thanks to bessie for stranding me. The girls wanted to stay longer but we couldn't and we were all pretty sad to leave.. But before I left grimmy got a very lil present but it meant something pretty big...(soft smile)
