Chiriko's given name is Doukun.  He is the youngest member of the suzaku seven, sworn to protect the priestess of suzaku.  He is very intelligent, quiet, polite, and sweet.  He does well on exams, and was the youngest person to pass the government official exams.  His ingenuity is evidenced by the use of a leaf as a whistle, and his strategic advice.  While not much of a fighter, Chiriko was willing to kill himself in order to save his friends. He has brain power.  He is really smart and helps with the strategies. His Kanji of Suzaku can be found on his foot and its meaning is stretching.
