ちらちらと　白い雪が　レンガの路に降る
落ちては　ほら　溶けて消えるよ

息で曇るガラスに　指先で引く
遠い空　ひとり見上げている

４月の遅い雪に　春の気配も
じらされて　ため息がひとつ

楽しいばかりじゃないよ　時には　そう　自分が
とてもとても小さく思える
ねぇ　誰もそうだよ　涙や　いたみ
それぞれの胸　うけとめて　迷っている

ひらひらと　舞う花びら　白い雪と踊る
にぎわう街　今日から春のフェスタ
もうすぐだよ　出ておいでよ　うつむいていないで
寒くないよ　春はすぐそこ

歩道の脇の花壇　咲きかけた花
あたたかな陽射し　待ちぼうけね
行き交う人の笑顔　しあわせの数
私だけ　さみしいのはなぜ

つらくなることもあるね　だけどそんな時にも
微笑むこと忘れちゃいけない
そうよ　思い出してね　誰にもきっと
味方がいるの　あなただけ　見ていてくれる

snow in april

white snow flutters down the brick road
as they fall, look, they melt and disappear

you run your fingertips down the foggy glass pane
looking up at the distant sky all alone

impatient for signs of spring in the late april snow
you gave a sigh

it's not always about having fun
yes, sometimes you think of yourself as a very, very small entity
but isn't it the same for everybody?
to be troubled by tears and pain in each of our hearts

fluttering petals dance with the white snow
the town is bustling -- the spring festival begins today
it's almost time, come on out, don't look down,
it's no longer cold, spring is just around the corner

at the flowerbed by the sidewalk where flowers bloom
in the warm rays of the sun you wait in vain
the smiles of the passers-by brim with happiness
yet why are you the only one feeling lonely?

there are some hardships, but in those times
you musn't forget to smile
yes, remember that everybody has someone on their side
one that would look out for you

i've known it, i've always been watching, even when you hid your tears
life has always been tough
you've gone through cold nights and long roads without giving up
time goes around and spring is just around the corner
