"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believith in Him should not perish. but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

We often take this verse for granted, but if we sit down and study and meditate on this verse, we will come to realize that this is such a profound promise that God has made to us. One could easily write a book on this one verse.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." (John 1:1-2).

Yes, God sent the Word, a part of Himself, to us and called Him Emanuel or Jesus. Jesus came into this world as a baby, born of a virgin called Mary. He came here to live among us, setting the "perfect" example for us to live by, teaching us how we must live our lives, to tell us that there is hope for us. Ultimately, He sacrificed his life for us so that we may be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life with Him.

Yes, Jesus suffered and died on that cross taking all the sins and curses of the world upon Himself. However, He defeated Satan and death when the Father raised him from the dead in three days. Jesus gave us power over death, over Satan. But most importantly, He gave us life everlasting.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus." (Romans 6:23)

"How great is the love that the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God! And that is what we are!" (1 John 3:1).

Yes, Jesus made it possible for us to be called God's children and inherit His Kingdom. Not only a child but also gave us the mind of Jesus.
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" (2:16 Isaiah 40:13) But we have the mind of Christ." (1 Corinthians 2:16).

The key to becoming a "Child of God", and have eternal life with Him is only "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus Christ" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9) It can't get much simpler than that. WOW, I don't know about you, but I know that I want to come to know this great Son of God, called Jesus Christ, even more intimately. I want to have an deeper personal relationship with Him. I want to love as He loved and be what He wants me to be, I want to know God in His fullness.

Jesus praying

Prayer is so important to every Christians life. It is not only to ask God to do things for us and give us things that we think we need, and to pray or intercede for others, but it is also to have communication with God. If we want to know God in a personal and passionate way, we must pray. Sometimes when we are praying or just going about our business, we are suddenly aware of a small still voice in our heart. God's voice. Hopefully we will listen to His voice and be obedient to His words. But sometimes we are just too busy to listen for God to speak to us. Well, if God sat down and wrote us a letter, it might look something like this:

Fathers Love Letter

Have you ever wondered about yourself? Have you ever asked, why am I here? What purpose do I have in life? Why do I exist? Does Satan have an influence on my life? Does he have to influence my life? What does the future hold for me? Have you ever wondered or said to yourself, who am I? Maybe your questions will be answered on this page:

Who Am I

God loves us so that He wants just good for our lives. He wants us to prosper and He wants us to live in good health. Jesus died on the cross so that our sins may be forgiven and that we may be healed, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Here are 7 Biblical keys that Oral Roberts gives us about healing:

Healing

cross

We were born into sin because Adam was disobedient to God. However God sent a second Adam, Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Jesus bought and paid for our sins with his blood on the cross. Thanks be to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, that if we believe in Him and that He died on the cross for us, we will be saved. Our sinful nature will put to death, our sins forgiven and we will be changed from the inside out. So never again will we have to profess these words:

NEVER AGAIN
