Distance: About 42 miles round trip. For more distance, connect to the Georgetown - Schwertner route.

Description: Relatively flat loop with very little traffic. There is almost nothing on these roads as far as mini-markets, etc. so bring plenty of food and water. There is a mini-market in Wier.

Food and water: There is a mini market in Weir. There is NOTHING in Jonah.

Where to start: Old Settler's Park. To get there, take 79 east of Round Rock. Take a left at the Dell Diamond.

Route: ( Taking the loop counter-clockwise )

Round Rock to Taylor: cr 113 runs parallel to 79, North of Old Settlers Park. Take it East, then left on 122. (NOTE: AS OF 10-02, cr 110 is closed for construction South of cr 117) Quick right to stay on 122, over the low rough water crossing, then left on 110 and another quick right on 109. Then left on 108 and right on 118. Stay straight, it turns into 100, then left on cr 130. Go right on cr 131, then left on 1660 to Jonah.

Jonah to Weir: Cut through Jonah, then across 29 to cr 126. Right on 191, then immediately left on cr 156? Cross 29, and stay on 126 to the end and go right on 153. Then left on 1105 to Weir.

Weir to Round Rock: Go South on 1105 across 971, left on 121 across 29 to 100. Go South on 100 then right on 107, then left on 110, right on 117, then take the first left back to 122 and Old Settler's Park.
