- Thank you to all the lovely members who were able to make it to last Saturday's beach trip at Twin Lakes. Eventhough the water was freezing, the weather was wonderful. Also, thank you to those who drove us to the beach (Erica Chow, Paul Lee [Alumni], Jonathan Kwan, Louis Tran [Santa Clara VSA] and Phillip Vu [Alumni]). If anyone has pictures or videos from the beach trip, please e-mail them to Christina Hoang.
- There will be a meeting this Friday, May 23rd, during lunch in room 217. It will be a short meeting, so please come on time!
- Don't forget to support Fremont VSA and Santa Clara VSA by attending their show, Our Journey, this Saturday at Fremont High School's auditorium. More information can be found at their site.

nbsp;     We are having our Beach Trip this Saturday, May 17, 2008. We shall meet at the flagpole at 9 AM. If you didn't not buy a T-Shirt or particapate in Visions of Vietnam, then you must pay a fee of $5 to come along. Everyone else please wear your T-Shirt if you have one. We shall provide food, drinks, and rides. But, if there are any other people that are willing to drive please contact us at, wilcoxvsa@yahoo.com. So if you plan to come to the Beach Trip please head to Room 217 and sign up! Thank you very much!

      The Wilcox VSA Officers would like to thank all the participants, family, and friends for a successful show! We raised over $3000 from all the profits and donations. Once again, thank you! On a more serious note, our Beach Trip is coming right around the corner. But, in order to fund this beach trip we still need to sell out all our T-Shirts! There are a few shirts left. We know you can can do it!

      Interested in buying a Visions of Vietnam V Ticket?
     You can start buying them on Monday, March 24 from any VSA officer or Mrs. Nishio. Student tickets will be sold for $7 while adult tickets will be sold for $10. If you're a college student, you are paying as an adult. All donations will be given to Catalyst Foundation that helps improve the lives of orphaned, abandoned and homeless children in Vietnam.
      Save the date, April 5th at the Performing Arts Theater. Doors open at 6 PM, show starts and 7 PM. See you there.

      Modern dancers, if you weren't able to make it to Monday's dance practice, it is extremely important of you to come to this Friday's practice in the quad from 3pm-5pm. We learned a new section of the dance, so make sure to be there!
      Skit people will be having a meeting/practice tomorrow in the quad at 3pm.

      Umbrella dancers, there is practice tomorrow from 3:30pm-4:30pm in the quad. If would be great if you could bring scarves.

      There are no dance practices this week since it is Fantastics week. Don't forget your moves though!
      Modern and tribal dancers will be having a photo shoot tomorrow, March 3rd, in the quad from 3pm to whenever it ends. For tribal, Anna is already providing clothes for the girls. Boys already know what to bring. For modern dancers, wear a white plain shirt and blue jeans.

      For those who didn't make it, don't feel discouraged! There are spots open for the American national anthem and the Vietnamese national anthem. Ten spots are open for each anthem. If you're interested, please contact Christina.
      Modern dancers, don't forget practice on Friday, February 29th, from 3pm-5pm in the quad.

      If you're interested in singing for this year's Visions of Vietnam, please attend tomorrow's audition which begins from 2:25pm-3pm. Auditions will not be open after 3, so be on time! We'll be meeting in room 217 and be prepared to sing a small portion of the song you're intending to sing. Remember, there are only three spots open, but don't feel discouraged to try out!
      Want to sing in a group instead? There are spots open for the American national anthem and the Vietnamese national anthem. Ten spots are open for each anthem. If you're interested, please contact Christina.

      We hope everyone had a fun and relaxing break! Please remember that there is a meeting this Tuesday, February 26th, during lunch in room 217. We shall be discussing about t-shirts and singing auditions.
      Modern dancers, don't forget! There is practice tomorrow, the 25th, from 3:15pm-5pm in the quad. Wear comfortable shoes and if you aren't able to attend, please notify Crystal. Also, there will be another practice on Friday, February 29th. Practice will start at 3:15, but the location is TBA.
      Umbrella dancers, practice is on Wednesday, February 27th. It will last from 3pm-5pm in the quad. If it rains, we will practice in Ms. Nishio's room (217).

      Welcome back to school, everyone! T-shirts have been made and shall be delivered this week, hopefully. They shall be sold next week and remember, they're only $10.
      Anyone interested in skit? There is a meeting tomorrow during lunch in rm 217 to discuss about this year's skit.
      Modern dancers, there is dance practice this Friday, January 25th, after school. There is much to learn, so make sure to be there!

      Our layout has finally been re-updated! We hope you all enjoy it. We also hope you're all having a wonderful break and are looking forward to the year of 2008. Remember, Visions of Vietnam is in three months, so we all must do our best in order to make it awesome.
      Club shirts have been ordered! Hopefully, they will come before Visions of Vietnam. Each shirts costs $10, so make sure to save and buy one once they come in.
