Part 3: The End and Beginning of the Tekken Tournament

by Gira Galin

Narrator:  Since the human race began, we've been fighting.  Claiming that the purpose of battle is to defend such things as 'TRUTH' and 'JUSTICE'.  There two words are just excuses.  Ever since the first human was born, there has been a memory, an instinct to fight.  This instinct is focused and becomes a person's Tekken.  Tekken has been imprinted on our very thoughts, causing us to fight for survival.  Once, every four years, an evil man named Heihachi Meishima ( Hey-ha-chee  Mee-she-mah ) invites the strongest martial arts masters from all over to his island resort to compete in his Tekken tournament....

"The contestants have entered the area of battle."

Heero finishes the knock out blow to his first opponent and continues on the trail.  The others also finish and they meet in pairs at the trail connections.

She's knocked against a tree and falls to the ground, scowling at her opponent, Heero Meishima.

"Just give up.  You're going to lose anyway."

    "I won't give up!"

She attacks him with various kicks and punches which Heero easily dodges and knocks her uncancious and continues on the trail.

    "Stop!"

He stops and turns around, seing Relena.

    "What do you want?"

"You musn't kill your father!  You won't be able to live with yourself if you do!"

"Mind your own buisness or perish."

"I'm ready to fight you to drive away your evil!"

Just then, the bushes rustled and Heihachi leapt between them.

"The only person that will be fighting my son now, is me."

    "Father..."

"Come now, Heero, use your anger and illiminate me."

Heero charged at Heihachi and landed a swift kick to his gut which caused him to fall to his knees.  Heero then delivered a number of punches to Heihachi's face causing it to turn into a mangled, bloody mass.  He drifted into uncaunciousness.  Relena ran over to him and hugged him, begging him to stop but he threw her to the ground.

    "Shut-up!  This is my revenge!"

Heero picked his father up over his head and carried him to a large canyon in the middle of the island.  He droped his father and stepped behind him, ready to kick him into the canyon because he didn't have the strength to throw him in.  Relena suddenly grabbed his arm and he picked her up by her throat in responce.

"I told you!  This is my revenge!"

"You don't get it Heero.  You've become what Heihachi wants, a hateful ere to his power.  That's why he dropped you in the canyon.  That's why you musn't kill him."

He closed his eyes and droped her to the ground.  She got up and put a hand on his shoulder.

    "Please, Heero, just forget it."

He glanced at his father and then nodded to her.  They left the island hand in hand.

    Sometime later....

    "Momma!"

    "Jin!"

"Please momma, can you finish reading the story?"

    "Sure Jin."

She stood up and grabbed her son's hand.  The wind changed and she closed her eyes.

    "What's wrong momma?"

"Nothing Jin.  Let's go finish that story."

    "Yay!"

Heero watched from the treetops as he slowly lost coniousness before dying a few minutes later.  He wore The championship swords and 'King of Iron Fist Tournament' belt around his waist.

Sad?  Dumb?  OK?  Please tell me these things!  I need to know!
