| John was1 week late. We had to Induce labor. Labor was a total of 24 hours, begining 6am Aug 15. Pushed for 3 hours! Most of the early hours of labor were spent waiting for the cervix to dialate. I then had 4 hours of serious active labor before I gave in and got the epidural (which I feared and didn't want). After the epidural, I had complete relief and I slept for 5 hours before pushing. Pushing didn't really hurt because the epidural wasn't turned down. Thank God! John was a cow! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
