The Story
	In 1719BC,  a forbidden love between the high preist Imhotep and the pharaoh's mistress Anck-Su-Namun was exposed! When Anck-Su-Namun took her own life, Imhotep defied the God's trying to ressurect her from the dead For this unholy act, Imhotep was cursed with the Hom-Di, remaining undead for all eternity. As scarabs were poured over his body, the lid of the sarcophagus was shut and locked and burried under the base of Anubis at Hamunaptra, where the curse sets in and he waits for someone to awaken him!   Three thousnad years later, Hamunaptra was just a myth, but one person thinks it exist and she is one beautiful, clusy librian Evelyn Carahan assited by her brother Jonathan. Jonathan comes to a brilliant discovery of a puzzle piece, that he says that he discover but actually stole it from a drunk at a bar. When they get to the prison, they bargain for the life of the dashing legionnair Rick O'Connell who is in jail waiting excution and who had stumble upon the lost city with his cowardly companion Beni in a battle years earlier. His knowledge and bravery leads them to Hamunaptra but they're not alone.   They soon discover that a group of Americans are trying to find the city themselves, which they find but unleash a spirit from the Mummy,  Imhotep! As he rises, he releases the ten plagues of Egypt and as he hunts down the americans, the high preist gains awsome powers. Those remaining try to attempt him from regeneratting and to save Evelyn from becoming a human sacrifice for Anck-Su-Namun's tormented soul!
