| 8.5.2001 (Sun) Rainy (@16:48) Just got home from the airport... pheeewwww..... finally.. Alfred and Martin are on the plane now. They are arriving HK at around 6:00 tomorrow morning. Martin was spanked by Charlie last night, so he wasn't in a good mood this morning. 8.6.2001 (Mon) Rainy (@00:23) I just finished reading 5 books, and it was quite tiring but nice to do so. I phoned Mieko this evening and had arranged a time to have dinner together.. :) NICE~~ Sad to say I really can't make the time on Fri, Sat, or Sun night which her husband will come back for her from Seattle. I've had a terrible good mood this evening since I finally had the time to read all the books.. and also started new books. Today's BC's day, my parents, Charlie are having a day off today. It's going to be nice. Mmmm I said I will relink all the pages this week.. but I also said no promise.. did I? Mmmm in case , I didn't ... I say it now then.. NO PROMISE...>>>>> lol... I'll try my best.... :) I'd rather spend more time on my books..you know.. I really need to start reading "the usage of excel"... :P lazy girl... Oh... mom was saying thinking of buying a new car for me.. Mmmm I don't think I need one at the moment since bus drivers are going back to work tomorrow. So I don't need to go to school on foot.. that's the good news. Another one is I can get free ride for 3 days starts tomorrow. (@06:15) The two "HUGE PACKAGES" arrived HK safely. YO.. (@23:15) Was reading a book named " I'm such an idiot while you are the bloody hell." ... no Just kidding.. 8.7.2001 (Tue) Sunny (@20:57) Just got home from "visiting-the-whole-Vancouver-one-day-tour" and I am headed to liquor store to buy some beer now.. seeya later. (@21:34) Aiyo... I didn't know the liquor store (the one close to my apartment) close at 9. I then rushed to 41st and Cambie to another liquor store.. I must get some beer tonight... it's a "must". I was having so much fun today. First and foremost, I have to mention that all the public transportation in Vancouver are free today and the next 2 days. So.. I first took Skytrain and Seabus to North Vancouver. Then, I went to Coquitlam by West Coast Xpress (train). It was so nice... This is the first (and probably the last) time I take train. The seats are so comfortable, and I had a beautiful sea view all the way fom Vancouver to Coquitlam. The last stop was Mission; however, I didn't have the gut to go to Mission. Since the trains were going to the east only in the afternoon. That means I have to take buses the way back to Vancouver, and Mission is too far away from Vancouver. Anyway, I was surprised it didn't take me long to take bus from Coquitlam to Vancouver. I'm honestly so glad to see the buses.... :) Vancouver has become lively city again... :))) (@22:35) OH... the song, The Girl from Ipanema, has always been in my mind recently. Feeling like the jazz moment. I think I will go to this Jazz Concert. The place is close to my apartment, it's free, and also that day is my B'day. No one will be welcome..coz I wanna be alone. 8.8.2001 (Wed) Sunny and hot (@17:12) I hate driving in Chinatown. People there are so crazy. The guy behind me horned me for not turning right in green light. DID YOU SEE THE PEOPLE ARE CROSSING THE STREET??!!! Was I supposed to be like playing bowling? Crashing into those people until they all lie down on the street? Jesus... calm down.. I had lunch with my mom at Granville Island. It was a very nice place which is right by the ocean..Mmmm if you consider that is ocean. Anyway, we had a nice conversation with this old guy from Germany. I was the translator between my mom and that guy. He knows quite a lot Mandarin.. :) lol... (@22:20) Oh ... I didn't know I can actually have several profiles in yahoo!!.. lol.. thanks for telling me that ..... and this is what I have just created. That's fun!!! I think I'm going to creat 3 or 4 more...lol.... 8.9.2001 (Thur) Sunny and hot (@21:25) Ok finally.. I got all the pages done.. Mm actually I can put all the links up again tonight... but I wanna have a new picture for the front page .. so...buy me 1 more day. Shelly told me that she wasn't sure where we can have BBQ (in public) crap..... Mmmmm.. I have to email Michael. I went to New Westminister today.. and I'm so much tired... Maybe I haven't had good night sleep these days.... :( nite nite P.S. I'm happy to know that I was cared so much. |
