Christopher Scott Love
1964 - 1986

Here is Chris' obituary from the Louisville paper. If I remember correctly, there was a gas heater in Chris' apartment that put off deadly carbon monoxide.

Christopher Scott Love, 21, of Old Floydsburg Road, Crestwood, was found dead Thursday in his apartment in Richmond, where he was a student at Eastern Kentucky University.

Madison County Deputy Coroner Charles Stiles said an autopsy was to be performed Friday at Humana Hospital-University.

Love was in his fourth year as a forensic-science major at Eastern and was a 1982 graduate of Oldham County High School.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Love Sr. of Crestwood; two brothers, Lewis "Sonny" Jr., and Timothy Alan Love, both of Crestwood; a sister, Dawn Marie Love of Crestwood; and his grandfather, Herman Love.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Pewee Valley, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be at M.A. Stoess & Sons Funeral Home in Crestwood, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to Mass of the Air.
