Twenty-five thatched roof bungalows with verandas facing the sea.  Facilities include tennis.  Some parts of the coastline are affected by strong and potentially dangerous currents.  The beach at the lodge is the safest on the island.  Windsurfing is very popular here.  The cuisine is Creole and European with an emphasis on local produce, especially fish, fruit and vegetables.

DENIS ISLAND LODGE

Elegant and exclusive, the lodge is a complex of 24 thatched roof bungalows.  The French and Creole cooking is renowned far and wide.  Tennis, windsurfing and golf are popular.  Equipment for deep-sea diving is provided by the hotel.  Boats for deep-sea fishing can be hired.  A glass bottom boat is available for viewing the undersea coral gardens surrounding the island.
