I spent some time in the military working on aircraft and engines. The wing is not only on the aircraft's outside but the principles apply to the inner works of the jet engine as well. I used those ideas to build my wing. After studying the aero on my Mustang .
I felt that the store brought
wing was not
efficient enough to provide the down force to keep the car stable on slick 10.5
tires. I also purchased a taller hood to better direct the air flow over the
car. I could have went with a smaller hood or even one that did not meet the windshield.
To me every aspect of the car is important as the next. The idea was to have a
"Total Car".. all parts working together. Below are a few pictures. I
did e-mail Tim Gibson and asked his ideas on my wing and aero package. Tim worked
