Nature Reserves
Here you can find a few links to websites and a whole range of information too. Firstly lets start off with the basics.
What is a nature reserve?
Well, its kind of self explanitary that a nature reserve, reserves nature. By this we mean that a company take a large plot of wild land and keep it in top form. They keep all the wild animals, plants, trees and all the elements of nature in this plot of land. Like a zoological park, a nature reserve serves the same kind of purpose but the animals are wild.
Why have a nature reserve?
Well, sometimes a nature reserve has rare animals that they fence off from the public to protect them (i.e some nature reserves have bears and lions that they protect from poachers).
Can the public go into a nature reserve?
Ofcourse, nature lovers are allowed to go into nature resrves and parks as long as they strictly obide the rules and conditions. These may vairy between different parks but all it basically means is that,
There is to be NO
feeding animals,
damaging plants or nature,
getting to close to the animals.
Similar to the zoological park rules but in some parks there may be exceptions.
