The Globe was built in the 1980's. All major events take place there, rockconcerts, hockeygames, European horseshows, MTV awards when they had it there. It's much bigger in real life than it appears in the picture. There are many offices and restaraunts in it, and has a mall built around it. It's the biggest "round" building in all of Europe.
