To understand the following fully, I suggest you read this, as it will give you an idea of the nature of the game.

Stallions, don't hog all the mares. Once you have three or more mares, keep it to one a week or less.

Mares, you don't have to go with a stallion if he asks you. If you are snuck or won in a challenge you must stay with the stallion for two weeks and post in his herd et cetera. Don't be a spoilsport: this is a game! After the initial two weeks your stallion may try and challenge for/sneak you. At the end of the third week you are free to return. The stallion who took you may fight you.

I will not make you a herd board unless you truly have no clue how to do it, and even then I want you to attempt first. Go to www.boards2go.com or www.voy.com and make it pretty... over-the-top, even. You may not challenge someone else for their herd.

You may not 'long breed' on WW's breeding boards, but we obviously have no control over what you wish to do over instant messenger or on your own board.

You may not have the same name as someone else, nor may you have a similar name (e.g. Spirit and Spiryt).

You may sneak mares and foals from other herds, as long as there's another lead horse there to 'save' them. (For the purposes of this game, a foal is any young horse three years or younger.)

The following rule is pinched from Gumbo's game, Raba, via Sav. Evils, being evil, may only have magic which is... uh... evil. Killing/burning: you know the drill. On a similar track, Goods may only hold 'good' magical powers (healing/defending/creating marshamllow pies and ickle bunny rabbits). You may 'quest' for magical powers to obtain them, and you may only have specific powers. (By 'specific', I mean 'not general', and by this I mean more 'can create static rings of fire' than 'can control all fire'.)

Royal positions may be challenged.¹ If a particular leader is dethroned, the heir/heiress will loose their title. They can, however, if one parent remains as a Royal, still be a Prince or Princess. They will not inherit the throne. If, at any time, a royal character is inactive for one month without excuse---or two months with excuse---they shall be stripped of their position. Once a regime is disbanded, there shall be a vote as to who shall ascend to the throne.

This is a horse game, so please join only as a horse. The new password to the joining board is 'backinblack'. You may 'adventure' to become a unicorn or similar, but no wizards, gangsters or squirrels.

Elly intended this game to simulate the ones of 6/7 years previous, and the new webmistress will uphold her intentions. Many of will have spent years honing your literary skills so that you write flowing, 500+ word posts every time. For this game, we'd like you to forget all of that. Spend a maximum of fifteen minutes on each post and play at the laziest level you can bare. If you disregard everything else on this page, then you must at least pay attention to this one rule.
