Four British Sailors are alone in The British Cemetery on Ocracoke, their bodies washed ashore after a Word War II sea battle.  The place is difficult to photograph or paint as it nestles in a secluded wood hidden from view.  Thus these four surreal paintings by Wily are glimpses from the grave in the color of battle and flag.  (11x14 acrylic on board or canvas)
If I should die think only this of me,
that there is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England.
Robert Brooke
