Four British Sailors are alone in The British Cemetery on Ocracoke, their bodies washed ashore after a Word War II sea battle. The place is difficult to photograph or paint as it nestles in a secluded wood hidden from view. Thus these four surreal paintings by Wily are glimpses from the grave in the color of battle and flag.
