The best seat back pack is by Rans, the people who make the seat.
The side bags are by Outdoor Research.

Waterproof, very light weight, great bags!

I use a #8, about 7" by 27".
Tent in one.
Sleeping bag in one.
Self inflating mat in one.
Clothes in one.
Two on a side.
And a pillow in a smaller one in the middle.
In my experience the best tire for a recumbent is the Specialized Assfault 20x2.00. (Notice how Trek could have left just a bit more clearance for fat tires.) With the Specialized Airlock tube, I’ve never had a flat. I think this tire runs as fast as a skinny tire and handles perfect. I can even ride up a pavement edge and the side tread rides up the edge like nothing. Safe, reliable, fast, go anywhere —Assfault has it all.
Other tires I’ve tried are:
Premo Comet 20x1.35—generally OK for pavement.
Schwalbe Special City Marathon 20x1.25—reliable on pavement but rides like lead.
Continental Grand Prix 20x1 1/8—Fastest for pavement only, but I’ve blown two sidewalls.
iRC Flatlander 20x1.95—As good or better than the Assfault in every way but speed.
Flatlander is the best city- or dirt-road tire. Take the Specialized Assfault for highway or all around.
