My Father, My Savior,
and My Lord

by Amy McMahan Russell

It's hard living in this age
I need the power of Your grace.
Please, Lord, don't let me stumble.
You've got to teach me to be humble.
So just take me in Your loving arms
And keep me safe from harm.

Chorus

You were here for me when it all began.
You are my Father and You are my friend.
I can hear You knockin on the door.
I can see your footprints on the floor.
You are my Father, my Savior, and my Lord.
End Chorus

You give me love no fool could keep.
You give me strength when I am weak.
You fill my spirit when its poor.
You give me comfort when I mourn.
You help me acknowledge self-control.
You are the One that made me whole.

You are the Love of my life.
I don't even have to think twice.
You are all I really need.
And I know that You'll never leave.
I place my life into Your hands.
And I know that You'll understand.

Because....
Repeat Chorus Twice and fade out softly

Oh, What a Beautiful place!

by Amy McMahan Russell

There are people who seem to think
that the world is just a material thing
Little do they know; we should be
standing on our feet ready to Praise and Sing.

Because our God created this world
in the liking of His own Hand
All picture perfect mountains, flowers, and
springs all across the land.

CHORUS

Oh, what a beautiful place
So full of praise
I can hear the rivers flow
Even feel the winds blow
Made up of so much Grace
Oh, what a beautiful place

Well, the world went on from there
and somehow ended here.
How could it come to this; all of this hate an fear!
Why is there so much pain?
What is there to gain?
Who has judgement to spare?
Have they even been there?
There are people who judge simply based on looks
Thinking they know what is inside without opening the book.

What has happened to the world today?
For it to turn out this way.
Don't they know that God gave His Son to sacrifice?
Just to give us a chance at eternal life.

It doesn't matter where we are,
In the rain or in the snow
Can't we just find a way to get
Down on our knees and just let go...

Repeat Chorus twice...Fade out...
