HEAT GOSSIP!! ISSUE NO. 153 2ND -8TH FEB Haven't I seen you somewhere before?

Will and Simon met four years ago on THIS MORNING Pop Idol Hopeful William Young has been judged by straight-talking record boss Simon Cowell once before- but Simon doesn't remember him.        Will enetred a competition launched by This Morning to put together a new boyband. Will - along with Lee Ryan from Blue - sang and danced for Simon and Pop Idol Extra presenter Kate Thornton but Simon says he didn't recognise Will when he came to the Pop Idol audition. "I am a very busy man and see lots of singers in my profession. Sometimes it's hard to recall everyone who sings for me," Simon explained.         Will laughs, "If I had known we'd meet in years to come I would have been a lot nicer to him first time round."         Will won a place in the This Morning boyband but they never got off the ground. He explains, "It was a really big thing for me to win but we didn't have a name and after 12 months together we realised it wasn't going to happen for us. But it made me realise I wanted a career in this buisness."         We'll have to wait until 9 February to see if Will realises the dream he began pursuing all those years ago...
