Ode to Life
Perhaps once in a lifetime
One gets a glimpse into eternity.
The people you never want to let go
Tell you so!
The flowers talk with fragrance,
The squirrels with a prance.
All nature bears an essence.
Change presides, makes the best moves,
The right maintains, the wrong reproves.
It is remarkable.
But there's more joy than trouble.
One must be grateful to be born
Into existence:
It is the difference
To be or not to be
A ticket to eternity.
To have and hold - all told
A timeless sunset and a timeless dawn
To savour all, and all in all.
Such are the gifts on being born:
To live eternally presently ,
No lengthy span of time
But time forever.
