If we are just what our social and physical growth and environment make us, then we are only vegetation.      

 

The possibility of variances and the concept of infinitesimal  adjustments seem to hold the secret of the universe. Somehow these truths manage to convey an unending quality, contrary to the idea of limit or completeness which tradition promotes – those packed little cultural boxes of mould on which we stake our lives and shorten them.

 

The destruction of life properties such as oxygen, hydrogen, chlorophyll or carbon may depend on how vulnerable these properties are. Yet the overripe fruit will sprout new seeds again, as the thin thread of life is capable of a never ending repetition.

 

In our life cycle we attract forces seen and unseen, known and unknown towards us, bringing good as well as bad: a person deserves the greatest sympathy when trouble comes creeping in.

 

Precious beings have an essence that stays on after they are gone and which cannot be effaced or replaced: if real values were allowed to die there would be no meaning to life.

 

How can the universe have a beginning – how can something come from nothing?

 

Though Joy and Sorrow have discovered each other, they evolved independently, taking growth from love.

 

To question God is to study a moment and expect to understand an eternity.

 

Are purely mental forces indestructible? Ask Mother Nature.

 

Many things never come and never go: they are here in the quantum soup.

 

The virtue of greediness prevents one from saying, “I have had everything, I am fulfilled, I can become extinct forever.” It is a message of faith.

 

Heaven is sound without ear drums, sight without eyes, feeling without touch, scent without nostrils, food without eating, and joy without effort.

 

Physical growth is numbered and limited, but who knows where mental growth begins, or where it ends?

That there is spirit in all life forms is a truth that does not stem from the intellect.

It is the mental quality in physical matter that is responsible for the growth process.

 

The hand of creation deals and plays out in opposites: love-hate, good-bad, strong-weak; the soma is perishable, what about the psyche?

 

The soul establishes itself, seeks preservation and motivates thought; give it a chance.

 

Change is at one and the same time a permanent and moving force.
