   The Philly native aspires to give his kids the same solid background that his grandmother and parents, to whom he dedicated his   book, gave him. Smith says each day he draws upon something they taught him and hopes one day his children will feel the same way   about him.
   "The images in my book and words on my CDs are all positive images for a reason. I didn't just make them up."
   The book is the first of several that can be expected from Smith, who has signed on to do some additional work with Scholastic,   along with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
   While Smith's part in the production of Just the Two of Us was easy (the lyrics were just placed verbatim in the book), he says  finding the right artist to illustrate the emotions was trickier than he expected.
   "Selecting the images based on the lyrics was much more difficult than writing a rap album. It takes some real skill to illustrate what I say in only 50   words. Kadir's job is definitely more difficult than mine."
