             Bertus Johannes Harberts, 28 oct 1955 Amsterdam
    
            Bert Harberts was born in Amsterdam, on 28 october
            1955, as the fourth son of Piet and Mien Harberts.
            Since 1 april 1975 he is employed by PCM Uitgevers,
            the publisher of five of the most-important Dutch
            newspapers, where he works as a database-operator.
    
            Since 1983 he has written fifty short stories and one novel,
            'The Houten Files', an hilarious tribute to 'Het Bureau',
            the famous novel by J.J. Voskuil.
