8. MOLENPLEIN, OFFICE BUILDING

Location: Otrobanda, Molenplein 12 - 19

Ownership: Curaçao Foundation for Preservation (Stichting Monumentenzorg Curaçao)

Detached premises, ca. 1750, consisting of a main building on Molenplein and outbuildings along Rialtostraat. The building is of general interest because of its value for architectural history and aesthetic strength, e.g. the FOR THE Otrobanda part typical Eighteenth Century facades with balcony and its value for cultural history because of the plan with core and galleries, typical of Curaçao.

The premises have been restored in 1999 by the Curaçao Foundation for Preservation
