10.  GROUP OF MONUMENTS, YARD AREA

Location: Frederikstraat 108 - 112, 114 - 124

Ownership: Willemstad Rehabilitation Corporation [Stadsherstel Willemstad]

Monumental ensemble, Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries. It involves the main building and outbuildings of a yard called "Kura di Shon Ki". The yard is bounded by Frederikstraat, Belvédèrestraat and surrounding yards. The cluster of buildings at Frederikstraat 108 - 112 dates from 1852.

Next to this premises three other main houses with yard and outbuildings still exist, two of them called "Kura di Shon Phil" and "Kura di Shon Ton" (next page)

These groups of buildings with their yard laay-out represent the oldest building structures in Otrobanda and tell the social story of past centuries in their own existence.
