I Do Not Care

I do not care if you never wake up.
It is your own fault for falling asleep.
I do not care if you have no seeds to sow,
Even though you will have no harvst to reap.
I do not care about the pain in your life.
My joy comes from the tears that you weep.

I do not care if you are alive and well,
For one day, you will be dying.
I do not care that you are telling the truth,
For you are always lying.
I do not care that you have given up,
For you were never really trying.

I do not care that you are the woman of my dreams,
For dreams soon give way to reality.
I do not care about the things that you want,
For you were never there for those in need.
I do not care that you have been blinded,
For when things were clear, you still did not see.

I do not care that you seek peace,
For all you have ever wanted is war.
I do not care about guarding your heart,
For mine has been beaten and torn.
I do not care if you ever really cared,
For I simply do not care anymore.
