This delightful alphabet was published in Venice in 1523. It might have been designed today. It was reproduced in Massin's "La lettre et l'image" (Gallimard, Paris: 1993).
While retaining the flavour of the original, I have added some letters (J, U, and W) in order to make a complete modern set of upper-case letters as a TrueType font for Windows 3.1 and all later versions of Windows. I have also slightly tidied up some of the letter-forms.
